NAPA Auto Parts held a luau themed sales event last August 16th at the Bill McNally Racing Team NAPA store in Sacramento, California. As one of Balkamp-NAPA's vendors, Launch was invited to exhibit, and in attendance for Launch was Marketing Director, Victor Rivilla.
Although the theme of the show was that of a laid-back Luau, the energy was high and everyone had their selling shoes on - topped off with a very beachy blue Hawaiian shirt! Over 300 customers showed up looking for deals on the latest automotive gadgets and Launch
was there to impress. The day started with demonstrations on the latest Launch goods - the GDS, CResetter and the XSonicClean BT; which although not entirely new, is a very exciting piece of equipment to demonstrate. Napa reps and customers alike swarmed the Launch demo area to catch a glimpse of each of the Launch tools in action.
Our demo vehicle for the show was a 2012 Toyota Prius V - a hybrid vehicle which we had TOTAL control over. Both the Napa Reps and show attendees were delighted to see full bi-directional controls and a complete and fast module ID-search for this new vehicle from
Toyota. The CResetter also impressed with its built-in library of manual oil reset procedures - albeit at a very affordable price point.
We look forward to sales from this event and perhaps another luau next year. And yes, there were leis and girls in hula skirts - not to mention the very cool Nascar race cars!
