Notification to remind customers about the purchase of X431 devices through legal channels

Dear customers and dealers：
Recently we found there are some tampered X-431 devices and fake SUPER-16 connectors in the market, and this includes:
1. The chip which stores the SN information in the diagnostic box was replaced illegally.
2. The SN of the diagnostic box was illegally refreshed.
3. The PCA of power board was replaced by fake one.
4. The original system language was illegally changed.
5. The diagnostic software was purchased through illegal channels.
6. The devices were purchased through unauthorized ways such as EBAY, TAOBAO websites.
7. The SUPER-16 connectors were manufactured by other companies, not by LAUNCH.
Regarding the problem above, LAUNCH will take the following measures:
1. For the devices not authorized by LAUNCH or were tampered, LAUNCH will NOT offer any warranty or maintenance services, and also will NOT allow to update the software from the X-431 website.
2. For the devices which were not purchased by legal channels, LAUNCH will NOT offer any warranty or maintenance services.
3. For the fake devices which were back to LAUNCH for repair, LAUNCH will confiscate them.
