Racing team Leipert in Oschersleben during Easter

There were two races, one on Easter Sunday May 23rd; the other on Easter Monday May 25th.
On Sunday the LAUNCH Lamborghini LP600+ was not very successful, Team Leipert/Petrishin (Russia) starting from position 33 arrived on 28. The second car Mengersdorf/Vollmair (France) started from position 15. After 3 rounds they run on position 10. After 20 rounds Mengersdorf handed over to Vollmair who made a driving error and he fall. Back to18. Finally he arrived on position 16.
The team Leipert/Petrishin started from position 33 and arrived on 29. Marcel Leipert did a very good job, because he got the car from the Russian on position 37 and brought the car, driving round times like the first 5 teams to pos. 29.
The Monday was at first very successful for the team with the No. 12 Leipert/Petrishin. After a very good qualification (Starting place 12 among 40 cars) the starting driver Marcel Leipert give the car after 30 Minutes into the hands of Petrishin on position 7. Marcel droves as fast as the teams at the front. He finished a lot of fights successfully. And drove in the same row with the first 10 cars. I was very hopeful when watching the live TV broadcast on Kabel1. Our car was very often seen on the screen. But Petrishin was not able to go the high speed of the other teams and so they finished on 23.
The other team finished after a crash in the starting phase on 28.
So for the beginning we are not so happy, but Ingo Leipert the team owner and manager said, we have shown that the cars are fast enough to drive times equal to the top teams and are sure, that we will finish much better next time. We will do all, do get Petrishin faster, he has to do lot of trainings and Marcel will assist him as his teacher. It was the first race weekend for Petrishin and he will learn and because of the potential he has, he will get much faster within soon.
